Inspection Summary

Safe manual access to the three storey block for inspection by the contractor would have entailed either a cherry picker or a tower scaffold. Both options are onerous in terms of either operatives’ time on site, or cost. Or both. A quick fly-over with our drone determined that there were multiple issues with the waterproofing and drainage on this roof, and that erection of a tower scaffold to allow an invasive roof survey was justified. A preliminary inspection which was carried out with no risk to anyone and at minimal cost.
